Okay, so we've actually had our tree up for over a week, but we're just now getting around to decorating it! The rest of our Christmas decor went up the same day as the tree, but for some reason the tree ornaments just hadn't made it out of the boxes yet. Eli has been really excited to decorate the Christmas tree, so today I pulled out the box of "kid-friendly" ornaments and let he and Abby get to work. Eli worked meticulously to put each ornament in just the right place, while Abby grabbed ornaments one by one and brought them to me to ask what they were, ("That?") and then ask for help putting them on the branches "Help!" It was really fun to watch both of them work in wonder, admiring the beauty of what they were doing.
