Our family spent four days this week at beautiful Cama Beach on Camano Island. We had an amazing trip; it was great time together as a family as well as time with friends...we went with eight other families with young kids! It was also a great segue into camping for Abby; accomodations on Cama Beach are little one room cabins that include a microwave and fridge. The "real" camping aspects of it include plenty of dirt and late night walks to the bathrooms by flashlight. :) We had such a great time that we already have our reservations for the same trip with the same group next year!

Cama Beach boasts some beautiful sunsets!
This one was particularly amazing because of the awesome clouds!
We enjoyed beachcombing and exploring the local wildlife...

Unfortunately I never had my camera out to capture the bald eagles that we saw every day. One day we were treated to an amazing show as one eagle swooped down to catch a fish from the water and another pair (male and female) swooped in to steal his catch. Totally incredible!
We also enjoyed testing the waters...
and Zoe did quite a bit of swimming!
We enjoyed lots of long walks on the beach.
Here's our cabin...
...and some of the goofyness that took place within. :)
Eli was excited to fly his kite.
And even more excited to eat marshmallows around the camfire!

The beach has tons of amazing driftwood.
And we had lots of time to just relax, play, and explore the beach..JPG)

We are definitely a beach-loving family!!

And Eli truly is well on his way to becoming an expert swimmer! :)
This evening we enjoyed some splash time in the back yard kiddie pool. I adore these photos of my incredibly happy kids!!
